We are a 6 resident RCFE assistant living residential Home. Our new residents feel welcome by our staff and present residents so they adapt quickly into our family atmosphere community. I wanted to share additional information about our residential home that we do differently from most care homes. I will attend our new residents first doctors appointments after the first two weeks of administration so we treat their present needs. We are focus on ‘Self Center Care’ for each one of our residents.

The experience at Siebenthal Care Home was really good, the community is very family orientated and very organized. They really did care about our parents and they were very good about keeping our family up to date. We are very excited about the true community feeling, as opposed to feeling like a warehouse. With the ups and downs I have no indication of her having to move out yet. There is more activities than what she was use to before. We were very impressed with the owner/caregiver of this care home. She is outgoing & friendly and told us that she includes her residents in daily activities such as grocery shopping, meal preparation, etc. They have small dogs, which we felt would be a big plus for my mother-in-law who is an animal lover. The bedroom seemed small and there is only one bathroom to be shared. Because they also have male residents, we felt my mother-in-law would be uncomfortable with that, so we chose another facility. However, we believe that the caring owner, the activities, and the animals would make this a good place to live.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they made some sort of TV program called "The McCallister's" where we could see Kevin and the rest of the family years later, get to know the rest of them and see what shanagans they get into. If not there's always a licensed comic book, follow up; and if one or both these happened it would be the true third sequel. There is so much to like, from the production value, which is great, really like how the traps were set up and conducted. Even the music is great, from some soundtrack bits but it's really the score by one of my favorite composers John Williams which makes it the most memorable. From that theme song which is one of my favorite themes of all time, as it has both a Christmas tune but at the same time a sense of foreboding as it reminds us as fun and cheerful as the film is there is still trouble in paradise.

This time around, Marv is played by French Stewart, Molly is played by Barbara Babcook, and Vera is played by Missi Pyle. Joe Pesci was used to adding profanity to most of his scripts, and kept forgetting that he was filming a family movie during his character's on-screen outbursts, so director Chris Columbus advised him to say "fridge" instead of the "f" word. Harry does not appear in the third film and the fourth films, but Marv would go on to appear in the fourth film this time as the central antagonist.
